Frostin’ ATX
Co-founder Julia is an Austin local and has been in the wedding and entertainment scene since 2011, with her specialty being celebration & wedding cakes. She has been baking since she could hold a spatula, and spent a lot of her childhood in the kitchen with her parents.
Co-founder Natalia is an honorary Austin local, having spent the better part of her life here (she lived all over North America before establishing her roots). She has a reputation for being the life of the party, and sure knows how to spoil the guest of honor!
“Frostin' is a home-based baking business located in south Austin that offers just about any dessert you can think of! While we specialize in custom cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, we also love making pies, bars, and anything else with sugar as a main ingredient! Our custom cakes, cupcakes, and cookies can be decorated with just about any design you can imagine, & we can also help you create the perfect concept to make the guest of honor feel *extra* special!
The idea for Frostin' came to us because of our young nieces' infatuation with all things buttercream and sprinkles, and our own love for dessert. Our families (from grandparents to nieces and nephews, and everyone in between) have played a vital role in creating our menu by painstakingly taste-testing every new recipe, and they also provide an endless supply of out-of-the-box ideas to keep us on our toes and our spatulas at the ready! We have loved baking for them and we look forward to doing the same for you!”
